Terms of Use

Last updated: 25 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the World Pickleball Federation website and member portal (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to them.

Who we are

The Services are operated by World Pickleball Association NFP (“WPF”), a not-for-profit organisation registered in Illinois, USA.

Status of the Federation

WPF is pursuing recognition within the Olympic Movement and is developing a WADA-aligned clean-sport programme. References to this ambition describe work in progress and do not represent that WPF currently holds IOC recognition or any status it has not yet been granted.

Acceptable use

Use the Services lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, gain unauthorised access to, or misuse them, submit false information, or infringe others’ rights. If you create a member account you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Intellectual property

The content, design, logos and names on the Services — including the WPF marks, the Bainbridge Cup, World Pickleball Day, and WPF competition and rulebook materials — are owned by WPF or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without permission, except as expressly allowed.

Member federations, confederations, delegates, and ambassadors may refer to their affiliation with WPF and use our name and marks to describe that relationship accurately — for example on their own websites or social media — provided this does not suggest an endorsement, partnership, or authority beyond what has actually been granted. Any other use, including on merchandise, promotional material, or in a business name, needs our written permission first. If you are unsure whether a planned use is acceptable, contact us at info@worldpickleball.org before going ahead.

If you believe something on this website infringes your copyright, or that WPF’s own content has been copied or used elsewhere without permission, contact us at info@worldpickleball.org with enough detail to identify the material and your concern, and we will look into it.

Applications & membership

Submitting a national-federation application or member registration does not by itself create membership; applications are reviewed under WPF’s governance processes and membership terms. Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.

Minors

Where a member account belongs to a minor, these terms are accepted on the minor’s behalf by their parent or guardian, who is responsible for the minor’s compliance with them. This is consistent with our Privacy Policy and Child Privacy Notice.

Third-party links

The Services may link to third-party sites and services (for example partner or social media pages). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers & liability

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and content may change or contain errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WPF is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the member portal if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, submitted false information, or posed a risk to the integrity or safety of the sport. Where practical, we will tell you why.

Indemnity

You agree to cover WPF for reasonable losses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Services, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. WPF operates internationally; nothing here removes mandatory protections you may have under the laws of your own country.

Disputes

Certain disputes between WPF, its members, and affiliated bodies are resolved under WPF’s Statutes and applicable competition rules, which may in future provide for arbitration before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland. These website terms do not themselves create an arbitration agreement.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not act on a breach of these terms, that does not mean we give up the right to act on it later, or on a future breach. WPF may transfer its rights and obligations under these terms to a successor organisation — for example as part of a change in WPF’s legal structure — without needing fresh agreement from members.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date shows the current version. Questions? Contact info@worldpickleball.org.
