Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 25 July 2026
The World Pickleball Federation is committed to making its website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. Accessibility is part of our commitment to an inclusive sport.
Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Measures in place include semantic structure and headings, keyboard navigability, sufficient colour contrast, visible focus, respect for reduced-motion preferences, descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, labelled form fields, and a “skip to content” link. We also have regard to the accessibility laws of the places where we offer services, including European web accessibility rules and the UK’s Equality Act 2010 duty to make reasonable adjustments, to the extent they apply to WPF’s activities.
Languages
Machine translation into many languages is offered for convenience; the English version is authoritative and automated translations may contain inaccuracies. Right-to-left languages are translated but the overall page layout is not mirrored.
Known limitations
Some third-party components (such as embedded maps) may not fully meet our target, and machine-translated content is provided as-is. We work to reduce these gaps over time. We review this statement, and test the site against WCAG 2.1 AA, at least once a year and after any significant redesign.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us at info@worldpickleball.org — describe the page and the problem, and we will do our best to help and to fix it.
