Committees & Commissions
The World Pickleball Federation delivers its work through standing committees and independent commissions accountable to the Board and the General Assembly. Together they safeguard integrity, finance, the rules of play, membership, development, clean sport, and the athlete voice.
Ethics & Integrity Commission
Ethics, safeguarding, competition manipulation and anti-corruption, and discipline.
Composition: 3–5 members — Independent chair; at least one legal expert, one governance expert, and one athlete representative; external members encouraged.
Members: To be announced.
Audit & Finance Committee
Financial oversight, internal controls, statutory filings, and audit-readiness.
Composition: 3–5 members — Majority independent; at least one financial expert; the chair is not the Treasurer (the Treasurer serves ex-officio, non-voting).

Rules & Technical Committee
The Rulebook, officiating and judging, and equipment approval.
Composition: 3–5 members — Includes the Judging & Evaluation function and technical delegates.

Referee Committee
Referee education and certification, officiating standards, match administration, referee development, performance evaluation, and consistent application of the Official Rules.
Composition: 3–7 members — Chair appointed by the Board; experienced international referees, referee educators, tournament officials, and regional representatives; at least one member with expertise in referee training and development.

Health & Safety Committee
Athlete, official and participant health and safety, medical standards, injury prevention, emergency preparedness, safeguarding, venue safety, and health risk management for sanctioned events.
Composition: 3–7 members — Chair appointed by the Board; sports medicine professionals, health and safety specialists, tournament operations representatives, and athlete representatives; at least one member with expertise in emergency medical planning or sports medicine.

Tournament Committee
Planning, sanctioning, coordination, and oversight of regional and international tournaments; management of the World Pickleball competition calendar; development of tournament standards and operating procedures; and responsibility for the organization and delivery of continental championships, including the Bainbridge Cup, World Pickleball Games, and other World Pickleball-sanctioned events.
Composition: 5–9 members — Chair appointed by the Board; experienced tournament directors, event operations specialists, regional representatives from each continent, and at least one member with expertise in competition scheduling and event management.

Ranking Committee
Oversees the development, methodology, and integrity of the WPF world ranking, and its publication.
Composition: 3 members — One member per participating confederation.

Membership Committee
National-federation admission, one-country consolidation, and the members registry.
Composition: 3–5 members — Ideally one member per continent.

Development Committee
Grassroots growth, continental development, coaching, and solidarity.
Composition: 3–5 members
Members: To be announced.
Anti-Doping Committee
Oversees the clean-sport programme run with IPTPA as Operator, and Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) oversight.
Composition: 3 members — Includes a medical member; independent from adjudication.

Athletes' Commission
The athlete voice — feeding elected representatives into the Board and committees.
Composition: 3–7 elected members — Elected by athletes; the chair ideally sits on the Board.
