The World Pickleball Federation (WPF) is an international federation for pickleball, uniting national federations across five continental confederations and working toward recognition as the sport’s world governing body — under common rules, a single world ranking, and a credible pathway toward the Olympic Movement.

To unite, develop and safeguard pickleball worldwide in partnership with our member federations — developing common laws of the game, supporting the development of national federations, protecting the integrity of clean, fair competition, and pursuing recognition within the Olympic Movement.

Our heritage
WPF carries the legacy of the International Pickleball Federation (IPF), with which it unified, and stands among the international sports community as the sport matures toward Olympic recognition.
How we are governed

Coaching & certification
Coach and instructor certification is delivered in partnership with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA), WPF’s recognised teaching organization.
