World Maccabi Games

The World Maccabi Games is among the largest international multi-sport events in the world. Pickleball’s journey there is a multi-year milestone in WPF’s drive toward Olympic recognition.

Pickleball was first accepted as an exhibition sport at the 2022 World Maccabi Games, before advancing to a full participating sport in 2026 — an IOC Sanctioned event — contested as a full medal sport for the first time.
