The United Transition Board confirmed that the IPF and WPF would each hold a Special General Meeting on 14 June 2025, at which members would vote on the proposed unification.
Should the unification be approved at both meetings, director nominations would be received up to 45 days before a first joint Annual General Meeting, where the new federation’s leadership and governance structure would be finalised through Board elections.
The update reaffirmed that the unified federation is being structured explicitly to align with International Olympic Committee (IOC) standards, to serve as the definitive representative of pickleball worldwide.
