The United Transition Board — with representatives from both federations and the guidance of an IOC consultant — reported substantial progress on integrating the two organisations.
Updates included the drafting of unified bylaws designed to meet International Olympic Committee (IOC) requirements from the outset; a decision to base the new entity in Switzerland, aligning it with other international sports bodies; leadership continuity through the transition; and a review of member countries toward a single representative voice per nation.
The Board also began inventorying both organisations’ assets for integration and identified the committee structure to guide the unified federation’s work toward its long-term goal of Olympic recognition.
