IPF Sends Pickleball Equipment to Refugee Students in Zab, Poland

← All news

The International Pickleball Federation (IPF), with the assistance of a donor, launched its Equipment Grant programme by sending equipment to the Kosciuszko Foundation, which provides refugee assistance at its Zab Camp for 80 students — 40 from Poland and 40 displaced from Ukraine by the war.

The IPF provided five portable nets, 20 paddles, 50 balls and tape to set up five pickleball courts for the students. Andrew Jagusiak, a member of the International Pickleball Investment Corporation (IPIC), an instructor in the Foundation’s Teaching English in Poland (TEIP) programme, supported the initiative. The Kosciuszko Foundation is a New York City–based charitable foundation founded by Stephen Mizwa to promote Polish-American intellectual and artistic exchange.
